After studying for the HACCP Level 3 Qualification we (Cate and Sara) passed with merits and received our certificates this month.

HACCP is an internationally recognized  qualification (ISO 22000) as it is a complete food safety management system. We worked hard to try and locate a course that would deliver the appropriate training but after an intensive 1 day immersion we went away and worked on producing a tailor-made system ourselves. This now puts us in a confident position producing and manufacturing our meals in an environment compliant with legal requirements.

The HACCP system shows that we want to generate a food safety culture within the kitchen and that we are PRO-ACTIVE and not RE-ACTIVE when it comes to effective management of food safety systems.
